Konstandino lives in Cape Town and is on the path to becoming a CA(SA). He completed his honours in 2019 and is now working at the University of Cape Town as an Academic Trainee, whilst also doing a Masters in Finance. Konstandino has been involved with NAHYSOSA since 2015. He was president of HSA Cape Town in 2017 and treasurer of NAHYSOSA in 2019. Konstandino’s love and pride for his heritage is so profound and infectious that he has the ability to ignite the Hellenic flame in every person he meets. Konstandino embodies filotimo to the full extent, making him the perfect person to lead NAHYSOSA in 2020.
Thalia lives in Johannesburg and is in her third year of an Accounting Science degree to become a CA(SA). Thalia has been involved with NAHYSOSA for three years. She was appointed as Secretary for UJHA in 2018 and has been NAHYSOSA secretary since then. Through her previous roles, Thalia has established strong relationships with the affiliates and the Federation of Hellenic Communities and Societies in South Africa. Thalia is task-orientated and works hard to keep the national committee and the affiliates on track.
Eleanora grew up in Johannesburg and was Head Girl at SAHETI in 2014. After she matriculated, Eleanora went on to study a Bachelor of Accounting Science at the University of the Witwatersrand. She recently moved to Cape Town to complete her articles at Allan Gray. In 2019, Eleanora achieved 5th place in the first sitting of the ITC exam. Although this is Eleanora’s first year being involved with NAHYSOSA, she has a deep understanding of finance and accounting and is an asset to our team.
Angeliki grew up in Cape Town, where she studied a Bachelor of Business Science with Honours in Marketing. She now lives in London, working as a Marketing Manager for a portfolio of executive conferences in North America. Angeliki has been a part of NAHYSOSA since 2014. She was president of HSA Cape Town in 2015 and 2016, and in 2017 she was appointed as the head of marketing and events for NAHYSOSA. Angeliki has successfully organised two congresses (2016 and 2017) and was instrumental in establishing the Greek Island Tour, which piloted in 2019. Her previous roles and wealth of experience in the field, as well as her dedication to NAHYSOSA makes her an integral part of our team.
Andreas lives in Franschhoek, he studied Computer Science at the University of Cape Town and he now works as a business analyst. Andreas has been involved with NAHYSOSA since 2011. He is a past president of both HSA Cape Town (2013-2014) and NAHYSOSA (2017-2018). Andreas has been the powerhouse behind NAHYSOSA’s IT infrastructure and he will continue to improve our systems as Webmaster, whilst also co-ordinating our biggest event of the year, the Miss Hellene.
Anastasia Achilleos lives in Johannesburg and is in her final year studying towards a degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. Anastasia joined SHA Wits in 2015 and was elected president in 2017, however being the youngest of three sisters, she has been indirectly involved with NAHYSOSA since 2008. Anastasia is approachable and connects well with the affiliates; she has the experience to offer them a new perspective and guidance to ensure that every event is a success.
Marisa grew up in Johannesburg and moved to Cape Town after she matriculated to study at the University of Cape Town. In 2017, she moved back to Johannesburg to study a Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase) at the University of the Witwatersrand and she is now in her final year. Marisa has had the unique experience of serving on two different NAHYSOSA affiliates: HSA Cape Town in 2015 and 2016 and then SHA Wits from 2017 to 2019. Marisa aims to make every Hellene feel as proud as she does of her heritage by producing original and exciting monthly content relating to Greek and Cypriot culture and traditions.
Nicole grew up in Johannesburg and moved to Cape Town after school to study a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Cape Town. She completed a post graduate degree in Marketing last year and then moved back to Johannesburg this year to complete her honours in Organisational Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2017, Nicole served on the HSA Cape Town committee as social media manager and proved herself to be a committed and enthusiastic team member always willing to go the extra mile.
